Coalition Building

A key pillar of CBTU is coalition building. It is a mandate from the international on down to chapters that CBTU engages in building alliances, partnerships, and coalitions to better advance our work and agenda. These coalitions are based on mutual respect and common causes. Our allies represent members both part of and outside CBTU. It is our objective to continue to build bridges and form alliances to further advance the voice and struggle of Black workers all over the country and world. Our solidarity is not limited to borders, barriers, beliefs, or behaviors. We believe all people should live freely and communally and we our partners share the same vision.
