The Senate passed a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package on Tuesday and, early yesterday morning, the Senate approved its $3.5 trillion 2022 budget resolution for physical and human infrastructure investments.

The massive piece of legislation that includes funding for rebuilding the nation’s roads, airports, passenger and freight rail, bridges and expanded broadband access.

CBTU supports the trillion-dollar federal infrastructure bill that will uplift millions of working families through good union jobs. The legislation now moves for House consideration as early as next month. We urge the U.S. House of Representatives to avoid delays, pass the Senate bill and send it to President Biden’s desk.
